Her official social media profiles are followed by over 400,000 Internet users. Brazilian trucker Sheila Bellaver drives a Scania tractor on the roads of South America. Almost every day she posts her comments, photos and videos online. She is so popular that even a Brazilian portal for truck drivers has featured a video about her.

The media’s interest in Sheila is understandable. Whenever she appears somewhere, people want to take a souvenir picture with her or ask her for an autograph. This was also the case at the Fenatran trade show, a meeting point for transport and logistics companies from Latin America. The event was attended by 50,000 guests, and the pretty blond-haired trucker was shining among them.

Sheila attended starring in the presentation of a special edition of the Scania 113 tractor unit, prepared for the 60th anniversary of the producer’s presence in Brazil. She had the opportunity to test this legendary model, characterised by its distinctively coloured cabin. She also spoke to drivers who came to visit the trade show.

However, the cameras do not follow Sheila on a daily basis. The girl works behind the wheel of a truck for a company from one of Brazil’s southern states. In her posts and the video blog, she tells in her distinctive, slightly hoarse voice about what happened to her on the road. Sometimes it is an accident, sometimes driving in a traffic jam, or making a stop at a parking lot and cooking dinner, which from time to time happens to be slightly burnt.
